About
Joseph John Varghese is a former left brained chemical process engineer and process management consultant. He has worked in the corporate arena with several Fortune 100 companies including GE, Pfizer, and AIG.
Joseph was awakened to the preciousness of life and the value of connecting and speaking from the heart many years ago. While in his senior year of engineering school, his mother Grace Varghese began experiencing heart failure. Her chest was laid open on a hospital bed at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York awaiting a heart transplant for a condition called Cardiomyopathy. The transplant was successful and she is vibrant and alive today.
Joseph’s father John Varghese, also an engineer, was not as fortunate. A few years later he suffered from a serious stroke, stemming from years of imbalance and stress.
The lessons were finally learned. Joseph realized that there was a vital area missing in his own life. He himself had developed poor habits; working 80 hours a week as a process management consultant and entrepreneur, drinking several cups of coffee a day, smoking, and not regularly exercising. He realized that he could fall in the same path as his parents if he did not take immediate action. It was a time for change.
Joseph developed a passion to teach others, that had began from teaching his own father to speak after his first stroke. Joseph set out to learn and experience balance in his own life to be an example to his family and peers.

To balance the equation and develop the right side of his brain, Joseph studied Improv, performed on stage as a Stand Up Comic, and danced the Tango. He has also become a student and teacher of human potential and personal productivity.
For two years, Joseph directed Metrofly, a successful event-creation company intent on connecting others for a higher purpose while raising money for local non-profits in New York.
A big shift in his life occured in April 2004, when his father passed on. Joseph went to Kerala, India, for the first time in 20 years, to bury the body of his father. In the process, he reconnected and fell in love with his own heritage and culture. He also spent a month in the booming Silicon Valley of Bangalore, India where he experienced a “flattening” outsourced world.
Joseph brings this unique laboratory of experiences together in his business mentoring methodology called Process to Profit Now. He empowers entrepreneurs to take a whole-istic view of their business and look at their business systems as individual manageable parts. He teaches the benefits of automation and outsourcing. Joseph mentors entrepreneurs to build and grow their businesses while truly connecting with their heart.
As a speaker, Joseph travels and shares his story around the world to encourage others to live a life of balance and purpose. Joseph actively works and teaches students and youth in the New York area in his spare time.
With Inspirology.com, Joseph’s intention is to awaken readers to stories of generosity and inspiration.
